Term Two: How do People's Beliefs Affect their Lives?
This unit provides opportunities for students to explore major religions and belief codes including aboriginal spirituality. The unit focuses on how religions and belief codes influence individuals and groups. Children will also be given opportunities to make informed judgements about whom and what they value in their community.
Throughout this term we will be adding symbols, rituals and traditions from the 6 major religions in our world: Christianity, Buddhism, Islam, Hinduism, Judaism and Sikhism.
I look forward to doing this at school.

It is great to see so many students learning about different religious beliefs people in our society have. As you learn think also about how you as a young Christian Catholic can share your joy of knowing who God is? Post some comments and discuss, for example: is sharing your faith about being able to explain your belief in Jesus? Or is it through actions and the way you behave? What do you think or feel or know about sharing your belief with people from another religion? Mr C
ReplyDeleteThis year 4 has been great, I'm enjoying school this year.
ReplyDeleteI think religion is a type of learning. You can share by talking. The way you treat people is a way of showing your religion. Treat others the way you want to be treated.
